Your data

Last updated: October 10, 2026

A short, plain-language summary of how we treat your data. The Privacy Policy is the full legal text and is what applies if anything here reads differently.

What we store

  • Your account: name, email, and a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself)
  • What you create: resumes, cover letters, resume analyses, job applications and notes, achievements, and your companies wishlist
  • Plan usage counts, so we can show your history and enforce plan limits

What we never do

  • We don’t sell your personal information
  • We don’t use your resume content for advertising
  • We never see or store your card or UPI details — payments are handled directly by Razorpay
  • We don’t send resume content to Google Analytics

Take a copy

From Settings under “Your data”, download everything you created as a JSON file, any time.

Deleted something by mistake?

Deleted resumes, cover letters, applications, and achievements go to Trash first, where you can restore them for a limited time. After that they are removed permanently. You can also empty Trash yourself whenever you like; the current retention window is shown in Settings.

Delete everything

From Settings, you can delete your account yourself. That permanently erases your account and everything you created. Payment records are kept for accounting, and contain no name or email — only an amount and the payment provider’s reference.

Who handles it

A small number of providers help us run GraphCareer: Brevo (emails), Amazon Web Services (hosting), Razorpay (payments), and Google Analytics (aggregate usage). The Privacy Policy lists what each one does and doesn’t receive.
