Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — every account starts on the Free plan, no credit card: 3 resumes, 15 resume analyses, 7 templates, a cover letter builder (3 letters), a Job Tracker (10 tracked applications), your top 10 job matches where Matched Jobs is offered, and more. Free PDFs carry a small GraphCareer footer. Pro (12 resumes, 50 analyses, all 34 templates, 50 tracked applications, 10 pages per resume, no PDF footer, Career Graph) is a single non-recurring payment for Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly access, with no auto-renewal. See the Pricing page for current prices.
Each analysis breaks your score down into weighted categories — skill match against the role you're targeting, experience, projects, certifications, achievements, and more — so you can see exactly where points came from and what to improve, not just a single number.
27 of our 34 templates are built ATS-friendly — single-column, standard section headers, no text buried in graphics — so they parse correctly in applicant tracking systems. The rest are deliberately design-first layouts for when you're sending a resume straight to a person; each template is labeled so you always know which kind you're picking.
Yes — upload a PDF or Word (.docx) file and GraphCareer parses it into an editable resume, ready to refine with any template.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your resume content for advertising. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Free gives you 3 resumes, 15 analyses, 7 templates, 3 cover letters on 1 template, a Job Tracker for 10 applications, an Achievements log for 30 entries, a Companies Wishlist for 15 companies, one job-search pod, and the job posting safety check, with resumes up to 2 pages and a small GraphCareer footer on PDFs. Pro unlocks 12 resumes, 50 analyses, all 34 resume templates, 12 cover letters across all 10 cover letter templates, a Job Tracker for up to 50 applications, 150 achievements, 50 wishlisted companies, up to five job-search pods, resumes up to 10 pages, PDFs without the footer, Fit to one page, resume comparison, Matched Jobs where available, and Career Graph — pay once for a Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly period, no auto-renewal.
Yes — every plan includes the cover letter builder. Free gives you 3 letters on the Modern template; Pro unlocks all 10 templates and up to 12 letters. Prefill your details from a saved resume and export to PDF.
Yes — the Job Tracker logs every job you apply to, its status from saved through offer, dated interview notes, and an upcoming-interview reminder that shows on your Dashboard. Free includes 10 tracked applications; Pro raises that to 50 applications.
A pod is a small private group of two to five people you invite by link, who check in on each other's week. Members see your first name and only what you choose to share in a weekly check-in: a number of applications, a win, something you're stuck on. There is no public feed, nobody can search for pods or people, links and contact details can't be posted, and anything can be reported to our admins. You can leave at any time, which removes what you shared. The Free plan includes one pod; Pro lets you be in up to five.
Community is a place for members to ask questions, share tips and interview stories, and react to each other, about work and job searching only. What you post can be read by every member signed in to GraphCareer, on any plan, and by no one else: it is not public and search engines can't see it. Posts and comments are checked by automatic rules first (no links, contact details, abuse or adverts), and a few are held for a person on our team to read. You can react to others' posts, comment, and remove your own at any time.
Yes. A post, comment or shared story shows your account name unless you tick the anonymous box, and then other members see no name at all. We can still see which account wrote it, because we need that to act on reports and to answer valid legal requests. Other members never see your email address or anything else on your account.
You can block the author of any post, comment or story, even an anonymous one. You stop seeing anything they write and they can't comment on your posts. You aren't told who they are and they aren't told you blocked them, and you can show everyone again from Community. You can also report an item: two reports hide it until our team has looked, and a report that says it may be unlawful hides it at once. Our Grievance and Reporting page says how to complain by email.
We tell you what happened and why: a rejected or removed post, story or comment comes with a short reason in your notifications, and you can appeal it once from Community. We keep it for 90 days so you can, then it is deleted. If your account is suspended you can't sign in, so the sign-in message links to an appeal form. Once a year we also remind members to read the Community Guidelines again.
No — you choose your own Connections file from LinkedIn and it is read in your browser and kept only in your browser; it is never uploaded to us. A person from it reaches our servers only if you choose to save them as a contact. Your list of references stays in your browser too, and you can remove the imported list from the Network page at any time.
Matched Jobs lists real open jobs and scores each one against your resume, so you don't paste job descriptions by hand. Free shows your top 10 matches; Pro shows many more, with filters, the skills that would unlock more of them, and tracking or an Apply Kit from any match. Today it covers listings in India, from company career sites and job boards, and it only appears where it is available. Each job shows the skills you have and the ones you lack, and is labelled by employer type: GCC (the India centre of a multinational), product company, IT services, or staffing agency, which you can hide. You apply on the employer's or job board's own page; GraphCareer never applies for you.
Apply Kit takes one job and, in a single step, tailors your resume to it, writes the cover letter, and adds the application to your Job Tracker, so each application starts with a resume and letter that fit the role. It is on both plans; Pro can also start it straight from a matched job.
Yes — deleted resumes, cover letters, applications and achievements go to Trash first, where you can restore them for a limited time before they are permanently removed. You can also empty Trash yourself at any time.
No — Pro is a one-time payment for the period you choose (monthly, quarterly or yearly), with no auto-renewal. When the period ends the account goes back to the Free plan. You can renew whenever you like, and the new period starts when the current one ends, so no days are lost.
No — signing up and using the Free plan never requires payment details.
