Product Manager Resume Examples & Templates
A product manager's resume gets judged on outcomes, not on how many meetings you ran. Recruiters and hiring managers are scanning for evidence you shipped things that moved a real number - not a list of ceremonies you facilitated.
What to include in a Product Manager resume
- Lead with metrics tied to outcomes you owned - activation, retention, revenue - not just "launched X feature."
- Show you can prioritize: name a tradeoff you made and why, not just a list of shipped features.
- Avoid PM buzzwords without substance ("drove alignment," "stakeholder management") unless backed by a specific example.
- If you came from a non-traditional PM background (engineering, design, support), frame it as an advantage, not something to downplay.
